Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 19, 2026

Jinjja or Not (jinjjaornot.com) is a participant in various affiliate marketing programs. In plain English: some of the links on this site are affiliate links, and if you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you.

My promise: I recommend Korean products because I've tried them and genuinely rate them — not because they pay the most. The verdict always comes first. If something is overhyped, I'll say so, link or no link, gifted or bought.

Programs I may participate in

This site may earn commissions through affiliate and advertising programs including, but not limited to:

Gifted products and paid partnerships

Affiliate links aren't the only way a site like this can be paid, so here's my position on the rest of it, in advance.

I will accept products sent by brands for review. To date, almost everything covered on this site was bought at Korean retail with my own money, and individual articles say so where it's true. Free sample sachets picked up with an ordinary shop purchase are noted on the article too.

Anything gifted is labelled as gifted — at the top of the article and beside the verdict — and anything paid for is labelled as a paid partnership. That's the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's requirement and it's also just how I'd want to be treated as a reader.

What doesn't change is the verdict. A brand that sends me a product is buying my time and my attention, not my conclusion. Nobody gets to see an article before it's published, nobody gets copy approval, and nobody gets a promise about what it will say. If I don't think I could write honestly about a product, I turn the sample down instead of writing around it.

If you're a brand and you'd like to work within those terms, the contact details are on the About page.

How to spot an affiliate link

Affiliate links on this site are marked with clear "Check price" buttons and use standard rel="sponsored nofollow" tagging. Individual articles that contain affiliate links also carry a short disclosure near the top of the page, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) endorsement guidelines.

Prices and availability

Prices, availability, and product details on retailer sites change constantly and are outside my control. Anything you see here is accurate to the best of my knowledge at the time of writing, but always check the final price and product details on the retailer's own page before buying.

No guarantees

Taste is personal. I share my honest experience and opinion, but I can't guarantee you'll love a product as much as I do. Reviews are for information only and are not medical, dietary, or professional advice.
